The Dayanand Institute of Education Management and Research held a seminar on Sharing the Best Practices in Mathematics. Teachers from nearly 36 schools participated in this seminar which gave some information on giving them best methods to be used in the classrooms to make maths learning a fun and interactive learning experience for the students. Present during this seminar were educationist Dr. Walwankar, DIEMR Director Dr. K B Kushal and the education co-ordinator Alka Lokre. Students generally from the primary and secondary section, find it difficult to understand and learn math formulas. In an attempt to bring in new ideas so that this learning can be made easier for the students, and a method that they can remember, the seminar was held. Speaking to NMTV News, DIEMR Director Dr. K B Kushal stressed on the need of such seminars. He also spoke on learning gaps that usually impact the education imparted to students. He added that there was a need for practical knowledge for education and team teaching.
