AFTER WWE, KHALI TO BE SEEN IN A COMEDY FLICK

khali---rajpal-3After making his mark in the field of wrestling, Dilip Singh Rana popularly known as Khali is trying out his luck in the field of acting. He would be soon seen in Priyadarshan’s upcoming film Kushti which also stars Rajpal Yadav. While most of us would think that a film named Kushti would be all about wrestling and action but this is not so in Priyadarshan’s upcoming movie “Kusti”. Known for his comedies, Priyadarshan’s Kusti film too falls on the same lines. However, this movie would be different as for the first time WWE wrestling champion Khali would be seen acting in a movie. Starring along with him would be comedian Rajpal Yadav. Other characters in the movie would be played by Om Puri, Laughter Challenge fame Pakistani duo Ali Hasan and Azgar and debutante Nargis Asrani. Rajpal Yadav spoke with the media about the film and working with Khali. Khali’s presence in the movie is likely to attract the audience but Nargis Asrani does not feel that the success of the movie lies with an individual character but with the entire team. We also spoke with Khali to know how he felt working with his co-star Rajpal Yadav. Will the movie in the heart of the audience or not is something will be known only after the release of the movie. And during the press conference of the movie, Khali was also awarded with the International Federation of Body Building and Fitness award. During a press conference held for his upcoming film, Kusti, Dilip Singh Rana popularly known as the Great Khali was awarded with the International Federation of Body Building and Fitness award. Also present during the press conference were other stars of the film. The award was handed over to him by the Executive Assistant of IFBB, Amit Swami.
