“Ajit Pawar’s ‘pee’ remark will cost us” admits Jayant Patil

Everyone has been saying that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar insensitive remarks on drought and load-shedding will cost the NCP dearly. Now even NCP leaders are admitting that Ajit Pawar’s pee statement will cost NCP seats in assembly elections. It may be recalled that the Dy. Chief Minister made rather insensitive remarks at a function when he first mocked at a farmer sitting on a dharna at Azad Maidan.
Ajit Pawar’s crass humour is now haunting the NCP ahead of the polls on October 15. The infamous ‘pee’ remark by Ajit Pawar has hurt party’s image. While others are maintaining caution, former Rural Development Minister and NCP leader Jayant Patil has gone on record to say, “I must admit that some statements made by party leaders aroused public sentiment against the party. But they have publicly apologized. But I agree it could hurt the party’s performance to some extent.” Bureau report – NMTV News.
