Amitabh Bachchan to launch two new Safari buses in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park

The Brand Ambassador of the Tiger Conservation programme of the Maharashtra state, Amitabh Bachchan will mark the launch of two new Safari buses in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park on Tuesday. The design of the bus bears the imprint of Tiger and Lions which will be used for tiger and lion safari, respectively.

The event has been organized as a part of ‘Wildlife Week’ celebration, which has started on October 1. Tuesday will be the concluding ceremony of the week, which will be attended by Forest minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, education minister Vinod Tawde and environment minister Ramdas Kadam and also students, nature lovers, citizen groups.

A short film on SGNP will be screened on Tuesday. Also compendium of photographs of all the 35 leopards, which were recorded during a study that was conducted by employing state-of the art technology using camera traps will be released.gallery_big_img03
