The NMMC first school for the deaf and deaf blind, it was a moment was pride and joy when the special children of the school performed during their annual day. The stage was set for student performances but of a special kind. Special students of NMMC’s first school of the deaf and deaf blind gave performances that translated into expression of joy and appreciation that sounded from the clap. The annual day was a platform for the talented who do not let their disabilities cloud their efforts. For every student who came on stage and performed it is the sense of achievement which remained a motivating factor. Dignitaries arrived to encourage the students on the occasion. Spotted were Navi Mumbai Mayor Anjani Bhoir, Commissioner Vijay Nahata and NCP corporator Netra Shirke. Enthused with the display of special students, Commissioner Vijay Nahata said that they look forward to focusing more resources in building better amenities for this section.
