The art exhibition at Kala Bhavan in Thane, Whispers of the Raindrops just proves that even umbrellas can be used for art. Worked upon by noted calligraphy artiste, Achyut Palav, around 20 frollies with monsoon messages and Marathi poems on rain have been kept here for viewing. In order to spread the knowledge across, Palav also conducted a demonstration wherein he showed how one can make creative umbrellas using household items such as marker and other paints. Along with the umbrellas, the art-lovers can also get a dekko of the paintings by 25 young artists in the city on the theme of monsoon.
