City based professional artist Rasana Bharadwaj has a unique thing to offer to art lovers. Going with the motto that every painting should have a wall, she has started an art library in Nerul. In our weekend special bulletin, meet Rasana Bharadwaj who gives you the opportunity to borrow a painting, if you cant buy it. Did you always fancy an original painting hanging in your walls but found it too expensive? Well, now you can borrow one from Art Per Wall. The brainchild of professional artist Rasana Bharadwaj, the art library in sector 4 Nerul is a collection of exclusive original paintings and portraits by renowned artists. The monthly rent and security deposit depend on the size and quality of the painting. So how did the concept of renting out paintings came out. Rasana says that after many exhibitions, she found that there were many paintings that were just left abandoned, some even damaged, after which she came up with the idea of renting out paintings. The library has artists from diverse genres, which include Pune artist Promod Apet, Achyut Palav and Om Rajput from Mumbai. Rasana has had a passion for paintings since childhood. She says that this is one unique opportunity where art lovers can find affordable paintings not just for buying but renting too. Her love for paintings is so much that she does not want to store paintings because she believes that every painting should have a wall. The idea of Art Per Wall is very positive as it will not just give a boost to upcoming artists but also create an open market for the original art. Sana Warsia – NMTV News.
