Athens transforms into Ghost Town due to Coronavirus pandemic

While the Coronavirus has shut down the world, forcing a new life of quarantines, confinements and social distancing on the world the glooms of the pandemic has hampered the hustling bustling streets of world now them making them deserted, eerie and void.

One such destination is the capital city of Greece, Athens.
Under lockdown amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the usually crowded landmarks of Athens have lain dormant for quite sometime taking the already settled negativity to another high by inciting an unnatural feeling of concern, isolation and fear.

While the alarming spike in the Coronavirus cases and stringent orders and advisory to Stay Indoors and maintain Social Distancing had resulted in shutting down of schools, bars, cafes, shopping malls, libraries, museums and archaeological sites sparking an escalation of fear and panic amongst the citizens leaving the busy streets and bustling sites of Athens to be transformed into deserted squares, padlocked parks and empty avenues with no people or vehicles moving around them transcending the city of Athens to look more like a ‘Ghost Town’
