The BJP party says that the Chief Minister Ashok Chavan and his Deputy Chagan Bhujbal are responsible for leaking the Ram Pradhan Committee report. The committee was formed post 26 / 11 to investigate the Mumbai Terror Attacks. Post the 26/11, Mumbai Terror Attacks, the state had formed the Ram Pradhan Committee report to investigate into the security lapses and system of the state. The report was to be tabled for discussions at the State Assembly Sessions but even before this happened, the report has been leaked. This has put a question mark on the failure of the state to protect confidential reports like this one. BJP Spokesperson Madhav Bhandari says that the Chief Minister Ashok Chavan and his Deputy Chagan Bhujbal are responsible for leaking the Ram Pradhan Committee report. They have also demanded that the remarks made by former Mumbai Commissioner of Police Hasan Gafoor and the remarks of Vinita Kamte – wife of late Ashok Kamte be investigated. No points for guessing that this issue will be taken up by the opposition in the winter sessions beginning from December 8. However there’s no doubt that considering the sensitivity revolving around the Ram Pradhan Committee report, it’s the state’s failure that the confidential report has been leaked.
