BJP – SHIV SENA ANNOUNCES 8 NAMES IN FIRST PUBLIC MEETING OF THE ALLIANCE FOR NMMC ELECTIONS

Recently the party announced the name of 8 of its candidates out of the 14 at a huge gathering at Vishnudas Bhave , Vashi With the sole aim of beating the ruling front in NMMC, for the first time in 15 years, the BJP and Shiv Sena have come together to contest against the might of NCP in the forthcoming municipal elections. The political parties recently announced the names of eight of their candidates finalized for contesting municipal elections. The announcement was made in Vishnudas Bhave auditorium in the presence of BJP spokesperson Kirit Somaiya, BJP leader Suresh Haware, Navi Mumbai Shiv Sena Chief Vijay Chougule, MLA Sanjay Khelkar, BJP MLC Vinod Tawde, former MP Jagannath Patil and others. Leaders of both the parties who held the meeting did not miss the chance of attacking the ruling front in NMMC. Apart from the blame game, the party also announced the names of eight of its candidates out of the 14. The names included Seema Prabhakar Tizare from ward no. 82, Sudha Reddy from ward no. 83, Varsha Bhosale from ward no. 87 Nerul, Shobha Dhakne from ward no. 78, Sunil Honroa from ward no. 79, Vijaya Gharat from ward no. 58, Poonam Sharma from ward no. 44 and Mahadev Patel from ward no. 56. The remaining 6 names would be announced soon by the party. Speaking to the media BJP leader Suresh Haware said that the contestants are educated and well versed with administration affairs. Refusing any speculations of rebels he said that there was a common consensus on the candidates being selected from each ward and that the remaining names would be announced soon.
