Round Table India in association with National Association for blind held a Blind Man’s Car Rally 2008 in the city in which around 62 blind people participated showcasing that nothing is impossible. The Blind Man’s Car rally organized by Round Table India in association with national association for Blind was the held with the theme of Independence through education. This car rally was unique in itself as the ones sitting behind the steering wheel were not people with eye-sight but blind. There were 62 participants in the rally who showed that nothing was impossible. Although there were many who had participated in this kind of a rally earlier but for some it was a new experience. We also spoke with some of the drivers of the car rally. This 65- kilo meter rally culminated at Bandra crossing the Worli sea-face. Present during the rally to encourage these special people was famous Ad-film-maker Pralad Kakkar along with models Vidhya Malavde and urvashi Sharma.
