It was an achievement for the MCGM security department who were successful in arresting traders in possession with 350 kgs of silver at the Mumbai Central station. the traders had evaded octroi duty and were carrying the goods. Receiving information from a source, MCGM’s security department laid a trap for these traders at the Mumbai Central station. The traders had brought 350 kgs of silver from Gujrat Mail without paying octroi. The silver was worth Rs. 70 lakhs. According to the department, the entire 350 kgs of silver belonged to 32 carrier companies which had to pay Rs. 15 lakhs to MCGM. With cameraperson Abhay Prasad, Rajeev Mishra for NMTV News.
