Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has declared that all government buildings would be given NOC only after it is constructed as per the requirements of physically challenged people. In a meeting held at Mantralaya, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh announced certain privileges for physically challenged people. He showed satisfaction on the existing law of additional 3% reservation for physically handicapped in jobs and education. He ordered for appointment of medical practioners at district level in order to provide medical certificates and discharge certificates to these people. He demanded for a meeting of NGO’s and Social justice department. In order to facilitate the physically challenged people for attending the meeting, entry should be given from 1:30 pm onwards. In this meeting, Social welfare minister Chandrakant Handore, MP Supriya Sule and other officials were also present. Bureau Report NMTV news.
