CHILDREN AND AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS GIVE ARTISTIC TOUCH TO GREEN HOPE’S GREEN MOVEMENT 2010

greem-home-2MLA Sandeep Naik headed Green Hope’s Green Movement 2010 got an artistic and creative touch by way of a drawing and photography competition. The exhibition that is put for public display at Shivaji Chowk, was inaugurated at the hands of Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik where winners of the competition were awarded. The Green Hope movement has been a great hit this year. Besides the scores of events where trees water planted, the NGO took the movement to another level by involving schools and colleges in the movement. Their participation was in an exhibition held at Shivaji Chowk at Vashi. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of the organizer MLA Sandeep Naik who is the President of Green Hope. Speaking to the media, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik appreciated the work being done by Green Hope for environment conservation and greening Navi Mumbai. The winners of the drawing and photography exhibition were honored at the hands of the Minister. Speaking to NMTV News, MLA Sandeep Naik spoke about the exhibition where only selected display was put for public. MLA Sandeep Naik said that there is a need to spread awareness on environment among the children and youngsters that is why they thought of organizing this competition as a part of Green Hope. Enthusiastic after Green Hope’s Green Movement’s huge success in Navi Mumbai this year, MLA Sandeep Naik said that next year they will organize the movement for entire Thane district.
