The Bihai Ekta Manch of Chembur are all geared up for the Chatpuja celebrations to be held on November 4. For the last five years, the Bihari EKta Manch has been celebrating Chatpuja in traditional style. While the atmosphere of the city was quite tensed with the oncoming celebrations, Raj Thackarey’s statement of not being involved in any religious festivals has cooled this down to some extent. Likewise, preparations near sea shores and ponds have started in full force. The pond situated at M Ward Chembur was cleaned but with the slow progress the cleaning work is still incomplete. Not to mention that last year, Social Welfare Minister Chandrakant Handore had approved Rs 50 lakhs for the beautification of this very pond. However, people seem to be all geared up for this celebration. With cameraperson Vijay Kharalkar, Mushtaq Khan for NMTV News.
