Speaking in context with the rail budget presented by Union railway minister Suresh Prabhu, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis thanked and supported it stating that it would go a long way in the development of rail infrastructure in Maharashtra.
Speaking to a news weekly, the CM said, “Vidarbha and Marathwada have got a major share in joint venture projects that will help finish the projects in 3-5 yrs. Out of 45 Maharastra has got maximum special purpose vehicles meant for implementing the projects.”
“Prabhuji is a Mumbaikar and knows the problems of Mumbai. Mumbai suburban rail elevated corridor is a pathbreaking move for decongestion. Both elevated corridors, Churchgate to Virar and CST to Panvel will act as the life line of Mumbai and MMR,” Fadnavis said.
