COAST GUARD INTENSIFIES AS CENTER SENDS VESSELS TO PATROL CITY COASTLINE

naviP C Jha, the Chairman of Central board of Excise and Customs commissioned nine Custom Patrolling vessels to be used by the department for patrolling purposes. In lieu of the Mumbai terror attack, patrolling in the sea has been increased for which new customs patrolling vessels have been brought in. The same was commissioned by P C Jha, the Chairman of Central board of Excise and Customs. These vessels have bee specially brought in from Australlia. Of the 109 vessels contracted for building, 31 vessels have been received so far.
