COMMUNAL FORCES WILL COME TO AN END IN THIS ELECTION – SAYS DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTER R R PATIL

udhavji-2The way in which a huge crowd gathered for the campaigning meet held at Mira Bhayander by the NCP party, no one would have wondered that there are differences between Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik and the local leader of the node Gilbert Mendosa. The campaigning also saw the presence of Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil who criticized the working of Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackarey. Another campaigning for the Thane Lok sabha by polls for NCP candidate Sanjeev Naik was held in Mira Bhayander which saw the presence of many top NCP leaders. The way in which a huge crowd of party workers came in support of Sanjeev Naik, seemed like both Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik and local leader of Mira-Bhayander Gilbert Mendosa have settled their differences. Present during the meet were Deputy Chief Minister R R patil, Maharashtra NCP Chief Arun Gujarati, State Urban Development Minister Rajesh Tope, advocate Majid Memon amongst others. The unique factor of this meeting was the coming together of Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik, Gilbert Mendosa and Hitendra Thakur indicating the differences between the NCP party being settled down. We spoke with Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil who refuted the allegations that the responsibility of the election was shifted over to him by NCP Supremo Sharad Pawar was worrying him. He also spoke on the toilet naming issue raised by Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackarey. And in another part of the city, Non-Maharashtrians and migrants organized a meet at Vashi for the campaigning for Thane Lok Sabha By Election NCP candidate Sanjeev Naik. Thousands of party workers from various organizations were present during the campaigning. During the meet, the migrants have vowed their full support for Sanjeev Naik in the election campaign. Deputy Mayor Sashikant Birajdar attended this meet. We also spoke with businessman J.B.Singh during the meet. While the campaigning for the Thane Lok Sabha by polls has come to an end, anxiety has taken over and only May 22, the D when the elections are due will tell the fate of the candidates in the elections.
