On the other hand, another star Congress candidate to face imminent defeat is Priya Dutt who is on way to lose against BJP’s Poonam Mahajan in Mumbai North Central.

Even the much hyped candidature of Urmila Matondkar from Mumbai North failed to impress or convince voters as BJP’s Gopal Shetty is winning. From Mumbai South Central, Shiv Sena’s Rahul Shewale is leading, from Mumbai North East Manoj Kotak is leading. On the other hand, Shiv Sena’s Rajan Vichare is headed for a comfortable victory in Thane while Dr Shrikant Shinde is on his way for consecutive win from Kalyan.
