The D Y Patil Stadium witnessed the Australian cricket team practice at the ground besides the stadium. The team was in good spirits as, as soon as they arrived, they go to practice. The Australian is slated to play the last match of the ODI series at the stadium. Having already clinched the series, the team looked fairly relaxed. Post their practise session, the Australian captain Rocky Ponting spoke to the media. Speaking on the expectation from the last match, Ponting said that they would like to finish the series on a positive note. While the team has already won the series and yet playing the last macth, Ponting said that 4-3 would be better than 4-2. Speaking on Sachin Tendulkar, the Australian captain was all praises for the little master. Ricky Ponting was confident that this experience would help him in the World Cup scheduled for 2011. While the last match of the series is scheduled to held on Wednesday, the rains might play spoilsport and cricket lovers would have to keep their fingers crossed to witness the first international match of the satellite city.
