The controversy of R P Mangala Hindi school closing down looks like is being groped by political parties as an election agenda. With parents protesting against the closure of school, now the political parties are also joining them, thus making the issue political as well. Another example of political parties interfering with issues of the educational institutes seems to be coming up with the R P Mangala school closure issue. Even as parents and students protested against the trustees of the school for shutting down the school, political parties have jumped in too. Protesting against the decision of the school administration, Congress and NCP had called for a meeting with the authorities. Congress party worker Balkrishna Purnekar and Manoj Shinde met the director Vivek Mangala demanding him not to close the school. Post this, even Shiv Sena-BJP and MNS joined in the battle with Shiv Sena’s Gopal Landge, BJP leader Veena Bhatiya, MNS leader Hari Mali, MNS ward chief Manohar Chavan met the school authorties.
