DENGUE CLAIMS LIFE OF ONE COP IN NAVI MUMBAI

dengu-1In a sad demise, Asst Police Inspector Chandroday Bokre who was working at APMC Traffic beat in the Navi Mumbai traffic department dies due to dengue at MGM hospital. Asst. Police Inspector Chandroday Bokre was employed at the APMC Annapurna Police Chowki. He was admitted in the hospital few days back and despite treatment, his fever did not come down. He was then rushed to the MGM hospital in Vashi but he could not survive the disease. Very close to Bokre, Asst Police Inspector at Vashi Satish Gaekwad said that he had lost a very close friend. The APMC Annapurna Police Chowki where Bokre was stationed is located vry close to an open gutter. The other constables too here are forced to work in the smell amidst mosquitoes. When we brought this to the attention of the ACP – Traffic Shrikant Dhivare, he did not deny the problem. Infact the deceased Bokre had even proposed to shift the chowky but no heed was paid to that proposal too by the APMC administration. Dhivare said that they would strive to get this proposal approved as soon as possible. With cameraperson Vinayak Dlavi, Monika Bhosale for NMTV News.
