The trustees of Sheetla Temple at Hanuman temple at Antop Hill are loggerheads over the ownership of a room near the temples. The conflict between the two intensified when a riot broke out by the members of Hanuman temple. The ownership of the single-built room converted into a play school adjacent to the Sheetla temple has been an issue of dispute between the trustees of the two temples for a long time. The dispute became ugly when around 40-50 members of the Hanuman temple disrupted the peace and demolished the room and damaging the back of the temple. The security guard present was bitten up in the process.Tension and unrest prevailed in the area. To control the mob the Antop Hillpolice arrested around 32 rioters.
