DON’T MAKE CHATPUJA A POLITICAL TOOL – SAYS PUBLIC

Chatpuja celebration is likely to be held in a grand way in the city by the many North Indians near sea shores. While political parties are gearing up to make this tradition a political event by putting up banners Navi Mumbaikars appeal to political parties to not include politics with religious sentiments and traditions. Chattpuja celebrations are round the corner and many political parties including North Indian leaders are all geared up to put up banners and woo their voters by showing support. More so; as this year’s celebration comes in wake of the tiff between MNS Chief Raj Thackarey and Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Most believers however want that political parties keep politics away from their traditions and beliefs. Hopefully, leaders will take cognizance of the fact that it is imperative to let each sect follow their own customs and traditions to ensure that India does not loose its secular identity.
