DRAWING COMPETITION AND MEDICAL CAMP MARK ROAD SAFETY WEEK

roadsafty2Observing Road Safety week, a drawing competition was held for awareness amongst the students on traffic safety. The competition was held at St. Lawrence School in Vashi. With the aim to spread awareness of road safety amongst the youth, a drawing competition was held for the students at St. Lawrence School, Vashi. The competition saw several students from across Navi Mumbai schools participating. The winners of competition were awarded at the hands of Police Commissioner Ramrao Wagh who was present with his wife. With cameraperson Deepak Kamble, Shialendra Upadhyay for NMTV News. For the same week, an eye check up camp was held for drivers. The camp was a joint undertaking of Navi Mumbai traffic police and the Chemist and Wholesaler Association. DCP Zone 1, R D Shinde was present at the event who gave us more insight. More than 350 Mahadi transport drivers of APMC took benefit of this camp.
