Will they or will they not? Looks like they will. The BCCI has decided to have the finals at Nerul’s D Y Patil Stadium after days of speculations. Call it the Sharad Pawar style of taking credit. The BCCI President has decided to give the finals of the IPL to Navi Mumbai’s Dr. D Y Patilo Stadium. He made the official announcement before a IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings recently. The BCCI Chief walked in to the press box and informed that the Board had decided to shift the venue to the larger capacity DY Patil stadium. Sharad Pawar however confirmed that the semifinals will be played at the Wankhede stadium itself. Many cricket lovers had lost heart after for n number of reasons two matches to be played in Dr. D Y Patil stadium were cancelled but now with the recent announcement made by BCCI Chief, looks like the D Y Patil team has beaten the Wankhede team for now.
