Even after dealing with the aftermaths of the strong earthquake that had hit China a few days back, people of China still have a lot to worry about as according to a recent report submitted by the China’s National Census of water, in a time period of 20 years China has lost almost 28 000 rivers, and that too just like that. 20 years back China had almost around 50 000 rivers, but the recent study shows that almost 28 000 rivers have vanished from the map. The sudden disappearance of so many rivers is a clear indication of the effects of global warming, climate change and also a lot to do with those mistakes that man makes. The scarcity of water in China is still playing a major role and if the officials don’t take major steps in saving water, within the next 20 years China could face serious trouble with water scarcity.
