FAMILY OF VILAS JADHAV DEMAND BRAIN MAPPING AND NARCO ANALYSIS TEST ON BJP SHIV SENA CANDIDATE FROM THANE CONSTITUENCY VIJAY CHOUGULE IN THE VILAS JADHAV MURDER CASE

The family members of late NCP’s party worker from Airoli Vilas Jadhav have appealed that a brain mapping and narco analysis test be done on BJP – Shiv Sena candidate from Thane constituency Vijay Chougule. The ghost of the Vilas Jadhav murder case is back to haunt Vijay Chougule and the timings couldn’t be worse. In the midst of campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the Thane constituency, the family of NCP party worker Vilas Jadhav met the media to inform them that they have demanded a brain mapping and narco analysis test on Vijay Chougule. It may be recalled that on July 7, 2004 Vilas Jadhav – a resident of Airoli and ward President of NCP party was brutally attacked and killed by four armed men. He was attacked 42 times by choppers and sharp weapons in front of his family and even his mother was injured during this. At that time the Vilas Jadhav’s wife and mother had alleged that Vilas Jadhav was murdered at the behest of Vijay Chougule. The family had even filed a case in the Mumbai High Court against Vijay Chougule. However in September 2007 in its judgment the High Court acquitted Vijay Chougule due to lack of evidence. In January 2009, the state has appealed against Vijay Chougule’s acquittal in the Supreme Court. On the other hand, the family of Vilas Jadhav is demanding that a brain mapping and narco analysis test be done on Vijay Chougule. Speaking to the media, Vilas Jadhav’s mother recalled the horrific night of her son’s murder and said that she saw her son being killed in front of her eyes as she watched helplessly. The Jadhav’s lawyer in the case says that they are also demanding a CBI or CID enquiry in the murder case. Later on, Shiv Sena BJP candidate Vijay Chougule held a press conference in Thane and stated that along with him, Navi Mumbai NCP Supremo Ganesh Naik should also undergo brain-mapping and narco test.
