A grand farewell ceremony for Principal of Karmveer Bhaurao Patil College was held at Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium. Our Correspondent Monika Bhosale reports. The farewell ceremony of Karmveer Bhaurao Patil College’s Principal B A Patil at Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium saw the dais glittered with prominent guests. This included Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik, Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University Dr. N D Sawant, Vice Chancellor of Nagpur University Dr. S N Pathan and Mayor Manisha Bhoir amongst others. After 34 years of service, Principal B A Patil is going to retire on the 31st of October. He has been the Principal of KBP College for the period of 2001 till date. It was under his leadership that Modern College was renamed as Karmveer Bhaorao Patil College and the grand statue of Karmveer Bhaurao Patil was installed at the college premises apart from other significant developments. Principal B A Patil was felicitated here at the hands of Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik. Dr. S N Pathan said that Principal Patil’s identity as a part of the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha began since he was a student. Dr. N D Sawant spoke about the role of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha institutions in the state’s education sector. He said that it was indeed commendable that not a single complaint has been registered with the Mumbai University against any Rayat Shikshan Sanstha institute. Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik praised Principal B A Patil as an effective administrator and a good human being. In his addressal Principal B A Patil was a little moved recollecting his 34 years of service and paid his gratitude for all to come together to give him a warm send off.
