It wasn’t any April fool report as many presumed. CIDCO Chief PRO has quit office for a lucrative offer in a private media company. Journalists and public are jubilant so say the least. It might sound like a dream that could have never come true but it has. CIDCO Chief PRO Budhbhushan Gaekwad has quit office. The management accepted his resignation on the 28th of March. BG has quit government service for a lucrative offer in a private media company. Many will remember BG as a PRO who always took the easy way out and demonstrated arrogance. He would never allow the media to speak to senior CIDCO officials. And himself would not address media queries that reflected very poorly on CIDCO’s image. Due to this he was also accused of covering up scams that unearthed time and again at CIDCO. Hopefully, the next man to don the role of CIDCO Chief PRO will do justice to the post, unlike BG who was more of a personal relation officer than a public relations officer. Bureau Report – NMTV.
