GO KARTING AND ROCK CLIMBING FOR PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED

Go-karte-4One special event that took place recently was the 8th Hakone Championship for Physically Challenged Children at the Hakone Go-Karting Centre at Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. More than 90 boys and girls from NGOs such as Sanskardham Vidyalaya for Hearing Impaired, Shruti School for the Deaf, Bombay Institution for Deaf and Mutes, Education Audiology and Research Society, Utkarsh Mandal Mookdhwani Vidyalaya and Save the Children School, participated in rock climbing and go-karting. Celebrities joined the exciting sports event with special children. The aim of holding this sport annually is to bring out the spirit of the adventure and provide an opportunity to differently-abled children for competing in challenging sports such as go karting and rock climbing.
