Vasant Patil, a resident of Ghansoli sits outside the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate demanding action against the flat owner of the apartment where he was staying on rent. He alleges that he was forcefully thrown out of his rented apartment and despite complaints; the police did not take action against the owner. Vasant Patil and his family are residents of Simplex Society, Sec 7, Ghansoli. He claims that the owner of the rented apartment forcefully vacated his apartment. He filed a complaint against the owner at Rabale Police Station but to no avail. His cry is that his owner was ready to sell the apartment to Vasant Patil for which the latter even paid an advance sum of Rs 1.5 lakh but later the owner unethically demanded increased payment for the apartment. Vasant Patil has even gone to court that has ordered a status quo in the matter but despite the court orders, he has been forcefully shunted out of the apartment. His advocate gave an insight in the matter. The case is being investigated by the Rabale Police that refused to comment in the matter. Sudhir Sharma – NMTV News.
