GULABRAO POL TAKES CHARGE AS NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE OF NAVI MUMBAI

After much delay and speculations, Gularao Pol has replaced Ramrao Wagh as the new Navi Mumbai Commissioner of Police. The State Intelligence Department’s Joint Commissioner of Police, Gulabrao Pol, has replaced Ramrao Wagh as the Navi Mumbai Commissioner of Police. Ramrao Wagh, will replace Gulbrao Pol in the State Intelligence Department. The first report of the transfer of Ramrao Wagh had come prior to the elections but has been executed now. Ramrao Wagh had taken over as the Navi Mumbai Commissioner of Police in July 2006 and has served the office for nearly three years. The transfer is one of the many initiated by state government in which over 50 senior inspectors have also been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police.
