Heavy rains fill up Mumbai reservoirs

The continuous rains for the last three days has brought good news for Mumbai as its reservoirs have added up the stock of lakes that supply water to the city. Heavy rain lashed Kalyan-Dombivli, Ulhasnagar and Ambernath on Monday evening. Shahapur, which has the most number of dams that supply water to Mumbai, also received rainfall. Modak Sagar Lake has received 10.40mm rainfall on November 22 and 23, Tansa 11.20mm, Bhatsa 5mm and Middle Vaitarna 9mm.
