IF PROMISES COME TRUE, CITY TO GET 24 HOURS WATER SUPPLY

water-shortage-4While talking to NMTV News during an event, First Mayor Sanjeev Naik shared some good news for residents of Vashi as finally the dry Morbe dam water pipelines laid by NMMC between Kalamboli and Vashi supply water to the city. The pipeline is expected to be inaugurated on March 18 at the hands of Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik. While the residents were living over the edge with the problem of acute water shortage, there finally will be major relief from tomorrow. During a party worker’s event, first mayor Sanjeev Naik shared with brought relief to many when he informed that the Morbe Dam water pipelines laid down from Kalamboli to Vashi would be operational soon. The pipelines are expected to be inaugurated at the hands of Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik on March 18. While this will completely eliminate the issue of water shortage from Kalamboli to Vashi, in another months time, the pipelines till Digha would be also connected. The corporation receives 110 MLD water from Morbe Dam and through this new installtion, the city will get more 50-75 MLD water. With cameraperson Ravi Nikam, Sana Warsia for Navi Mumbai News.
