Chief Minister Ashok Chavan has said that if anyone causes any loss to the state public transport undertaking, they will face the consequence of it. The Chief Minister was addressing the audience during the 46th meeting of the ST workers association at Thane. Those who will damage ST buses during any sort of protests will have to go to jail and the Home Dept. has been asked to take action against those damaging public property, announced the Chief Minister Ashok Chavan at the 46th meeting of the ST workers association at Thane. The Chief Minister was at Thane to inaugurate the annual event of the ST workers. The Chief Minister said that where ever there are villages there are roads and wherever there are roads there are ST buses, will be the mantra of the work of the department. He also assured workers of ST that they would get their rights as per their needs and laws. State Transport Minister Radhekrishna Vikhe Patil said that there was a need to change the outlook of ST workers for which they do not even need the grants of the state government.
