A retired scientific officer of the Department of Atomic Energy of Government of India has transformed his home into a museum. We are talking about Raj Kumar Gupta, a resident of sector 9 CBD and a true enthusiast about the Indian history. Jan Cabral visited his house cum museum and reports. His house is called Raj Bhavan and the high court says that is not wrong. He feels it would be better if the present generation knew what true patriotism is and not waste time on trivial issue like objecting to names of houses as was done in his case. 70 year old physically challenged retired scientist Raj Kumar Gupta has been collecting Tricolours and National Emblems for 11 years now. He loves collecting National Emblems and Tricolours of various shapes and sizes. While he needs support while walking it does not stop him to display his patriotism. He is a proud owner of Ashoka pillars made of marble, teakwood, sandalwood and also brass metal, stainless steel and iron. His appeal to the youth was to have a strong mind and to work with patriotism. While his walking hinders his work, the support from people gives him the motivation for him to move on.
