Indian Bank at Vashi is an image of how nationalized bank are all set to give tough competition to private bank. On the occasion of completing 101 years of existence, Indian Bank has kicked of the Banyan Vriksh campaign. This is not just a campaign but a movement involving 21000 employees of the Indian Banks across the country who would participate to spread awareness on the facilities and services provided and to reach out to the people. The movement started off on August 18th at its Vashi branch where the DGM (In Circle) S V Naik along with the Manager of Indian bank, Vashi Branch Mahesh Bajaj and other bank employees took out a rally informing the people about the banks’ services. The campaign would go on till the 25th of November that is 101 days of movement with the aim of acquiring 1.01 million customers. The DGM (In Circle) S V Naik informed that in the process the people who open accounts with them will be sent a welcome message and a welcome kit from the chairman to welcome them in their family. Before the rally, a gathering of its customers were called in the Bank’s premises. An esteemed clientele of the bank were given gratitude messages, which included SSV Cable Pvt. Ltd. Director Bhupesh Gupta. The customers expressed their satisfaction on the services provided by the bank. Also present on the occasion was NMTV Editor-in-Chief Ravi Subbaiah.
