With inflation fears being felt all across the nation, the state assembly too saw discussions where the opposition demanded clarifications from the state. The debate ended with the opposition walking out in protest. After the issue of farmer suicide, the second biggest challenge faced by the state is the rising inflation which is just not looming over the present ruling government but would also have its impact on the next elections. The inflation nightmares have already begun to haunt the common man and the opposition knows that there can be no better point to make noise and score political points. When the BJP started protests and Sena women’s wing made announcements of bringing the protests on road, how could the opposition stay quite in the on going state assembly session. Not surprisingly they created a hullabaloo at sessions and walked out in protest when the state failed to give any convincing reply. Also, BJP leader Eknath Khadse sighted the reasons for inflation.
