The closing ceremony saw the presence of NMMC Commissioner Bhasker Wankhede along with the members of the Builder Association of Navi Mumbai. Like every year, this year too, awards were presented to the participants of the exhibition. The Best single stall was given o Dudhe Developers, Best double stall was given to Lakhani Developers and best three stalls was given to Adhiraj Developers. In the Pavilion Category, there were five nominations which included Shah Group, Monarch Developers, Akshar group, Bhumiraj and Paradise Group. The award was won by Monarch group. Speaking on the exhibition, NMMC Commissioner Bhasker Wankhede said that with the new airport, housing industry was bound to boost up. The last day of the exhibition also saw the presence of acting MD of CIDCO Tanaji Satre. Tanaji Satre paid a visit to the stalls here. With the news of Navi Mumbai airport, he said that Navi Mumbai was coming at par with the other developed cities of the country. Speaking to NMTV News, President of BANM, Bhupendra Shah said that in his tenure, this was the second exhibition which was a great success with the exhibition making a business of a whopping Rs 2000 crore. Bhupendra Shah added that this exhibition was a u-turn for Navi Mumbai which had many inquiries for commercial premises. The main sponsor for the event and the MD of Haware Group Suresh Haware also spoke on the exhibition. Secretary of BANM M C Sunny also spoke on the grand success of the exhibition.
