Jago Hindustani Manch’s President and the Chief Editor of Mukt Bharat newspaper Vinod Gangwal has gone on an indefinite hunger strike to protest against the hundreds of residents names which has not been included in the voters list of the granpanchayat. On 21st December, the gram panchayat elections were held in various nodes of Kharghar and Panvel. The Elections Officers released the names of the voters included in the voters list in which hundreds of residents of Khaghar were not included. Protesting against this negligence by the Election Officers, Jago Hindustani Manch’s President and the Chief Editor of Mukt Bharat newspaper Vinod Gangwal has staged an indefinite hunger strike in Kharghar. He has stated that they would not call this a fair election system. The residents whose names were not mentioned in the voters list to expressed their anger with us.
