central-rail-1Central Railways has awarded Jhillu Yadav, a Railway Police Guard for his presence of mind and action during the Mumbai terror attack. Jhillu Yadav was stationed outside the General Manager’s office at CST railway station when the two unmasked terrorist struck. The moment Jhillu Yadav heard gun shots he immediately locked the office door and headed towards platform no. 2 and 3. Yadav threw chairs and other items in the way between platform 2 and 3 which somewhat delayed the terrorist from coming forward which gave time to the commuters to run for cover. His presence of mind and action during the attack has been awarded by Central railways which have decided to honour him with Rs 10 lakhs. With Dhanse Mehboob, Ashok Jagtap for NMTV News.
