A dynamic combination of reputed designers and emerging talent showcased their creations at Lakme fashion Week 2008 held at NCPA. With the aim of integrating India into a global fashion world Lakme fashion Week is held every year. This year too Lakme Fashion Week 2008 saw an immense collection of Fall and Winter collection. The first day of the event started with a spectacular show by designer J J Vallaya. Vallaya’s collection was titled ‘Paisa’ where Models sashayed the ramp donning Vallaya’s designer wear. Addressing the media, J J valaya spoke about his collection. We also caught up with Rahul Dev who walked the ramp for J J Valaya’s collection about the event. Another fashion designer who made an impact was Rakesh Agarwal whose collection was dominated by black. High ponytails and pointed heels, the models created an outer space effect.
