LJP CHIEF RAMVILAS PASWAN VOICES CONCERN AGAINST THE USAGE OF ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINE

ramvilasLok Janshakti Party’s chief Ramvilas Paswan has called the Electronic Voting machine a means of cheating the voters for which many PILs have also been filed in the court. The LJP passed a resolution questioning the credibility of EVMs during a meeting convened to analyse its poll debacle in the latest 2009 general elections. LJP Chief ramvilas Paswan speaking during a press conference alleged that the electronic voting machine was tampered in the earlier elections and hence should be scrapped. He further informed that PILs were also filed by MPS against the EVM. The party, which had won four Lok Sabha seats in 2004 general elections, failed to win even a single seat this time.
