Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao graces the closing ceremony of Mumbai Film Festival 2016

The 2016 edition of Mumbai International Film Festival that showcased over 385 films ended on a successful note. The closing ceremony was graced with the presence of Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, State Education and Cultural Affairs Minister Vinod Tawde, eminent film maker Ramesh Sippy, Doordarshan Additional Director General Films Division Mukesh Sharma and MIFF Brand Ambassador Jackie Shroff.

The Governor of Maharashtra gave his best wishes to the documentary and filmmakers. State Education and Cultural Affairs Minister Vinod Tawde said that those making such films need help and he wants the state to support them. Sharing from experience Ramesh Sippy said that commercial films are easier in comparison making the documentaries and films showcased in the fest. NMTV caught up with Mukesh Sharma and Jackie Shroff on the occasion.
