MAHARASHTRA PRADESH CONGRESS COMMITTEE CHIEF PRABHA RAO ADDRESS RALLY FOR NCP’S SANJEEV NAIK CAMPAIGING AT NERUL WHILE SENA’S UDDHAV THACKAREY ATTEMPTS TO WOO VOTERS IN KOPERKHAIRANE FOR BJP-SENA ALLAINCE ANAND PARANJPE

Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Prabha Rao was in Nerul to campaign for NCP-Congress candidate Sanjeev Naik while Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackarey was seen wooing the voters for BJP-Sena alliance candidate Anand Paranjpe. With the Thane Lok Sabha by elections just three days away, campaigning by parties for their respective candidates have started full fledgedly. Campaigning for NCP-Congress candidate Sanjeev Naik was held by the Navi Mumbai Congress party in Nerul which was presided over by Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Prabha Rao. Through this rally she encouraged the party workers and appealed to the voters to come forward and vote. We spoke with Prabha Rao during the campaigning. Also present during the campaigning were Chandrakant Handore, Shashikant Shinde, MLC Sanjay Dutt, Subhash Chauhan, MLC Manda Mhatre along with many party workers. On the other hand, Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackarey held his campaigning for their candidate Anand Paranjpe in Koperkhairane. Where on one side he condemned the state government on issues like inflation, farmer suicide, power cuts on the other side he criticized NCP Supremo Sharad Pawar on IPL and ignoring the conditions of the farmers. Present along with him were BJP MLA Harishchandra Patil, Sanjay Kelkar, and Opposition leader Ramdas Kadam. He also criticized Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil over the Shiv Vada Pav plan. Speaking to the media, he said that they were confident on their victory. When asked if there way any fear amongst the Shiv Sainiks related to the elections, he refuted the same.
