Dyaneshwar Babu Bhoir has done the city proud with receiving the Maharashtra state Ideal Teacher Award but unfortunately his immense contribution towards teaching fails to catch the attention of NMMC who have been ignoring his application for Ideal teacher award for the last 4 years. When Dyaneshwar Bhoir met with the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi he vowed to become a better student and then a better teacher. And with this mission he began his teaching career in the year 1972. Although his parents were farmers, his sheer determination took to many heights. A Bsc, Bed with a double graduation was promoted from the post to the supervision dept, then to being a principal of Vidhya Prasarak High School and College. Apart from teaching, he has also been involved in many social activities for the welfare of students. He has the Maharashtra State Ideal Teacher award. National fellowship award, Bhushan award, Indian Society Academy Award and many others in his kitty. However, unfortunately, while many have recognized Dyaneshwar Bhoir’s achievements, NMMC has failed to do so.
