One of those scientific techniques is the Carbon Credit project. Many municipal corporations under this project try to fill closed dumping grounds in a scientific way, the gases carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide released is converted into methane. The corporation then gets its very own carbon credit which when sold is expected to bring revenue to the civic body.
