MNS PRESIDENT RAJ THACKERAY DEMANDS 80% RESERVATION FOR MARATHI’S IN PRIVATE COMPANIES

Rajthackeray-1Raj Thackeray once again is seen playing the Marathi manoos card and has ordered nearly 26 thousand companies all across Maharashtra, to have 80% reservation seats for Marathis in their companies. MNS President Raj Thackeray has demanded the provision of 80% reservations for the Marathis in around 26000 companies across Maharashtra. For the same he has sent notices to the Industries Minister of state. The Marathi leader has also mentioned in the letter that protest will be held against the companies not following his orders. The same was reiterated by Congress Leader Kripashankar Singh. Further adding to the point, Industries Minister Ashok Chauhan added on the issue that the State govt. had framed a law in 1973, according to which the locals deserve 80% reservations in private companies. However the opposition has said that Raj Thackeray is trying to copy the issues of Shiv Sena. The fact that such a rule was put into place in 1973 and not been executed till date points out the failure of all the political parties who have ruled the state in the past. That the present government is a complete failure too is evident from the fact that they are voicing support to this issue only after Raj Thackeray took it up. There is no denying that the state has been subtly supporting Raj Thackrey – be it at the time when north Indians were attacked, the Amitabh Bacchan controversy or now jobs for Marathis. Experts say that there is reason for this. They say that the Congress and NCP know the issues of farmers & inflation will bring them down from power in the next elections. And if Raj Thackeray eats a portion of Sena votes, that will be the only hope for Congress and NCP to come back to power. With cameraperson Abhay Prasad, Rajeev Mishra for NMTV News.
