MNS Chief Raj Thackeray has submitted a letter to the state election officer Debashish Chakraborty, asking to make voter ID cards mandatory during the state assembly elections. MNS Supremo Raj Thackeray has submitted a letter to the State Chief Election Officer Debashish Chakraborty at Mantralaya stating about various arrangements that are required to be made during elections. The demands in the letter included making voter ID card compulsory for the voters and allowing the voters to vote only if they posses a ration card. He also mentioned that proper arrangements should be made for the Government servants who give their votes through posts. After receiving tremendous response from the public during Loksabha elections, looks like MNS wants to continue to stay ahead in the race in the upcoming elections.
